Renard Caesar, one of the men who was allegedly involved in a recent shootout at La Penitence Market was yesterday remanded to prison after he was charged with the attempted murder of fugitive ex-policeman Teon Allen.
Caesar, 23, was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which was read by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan in a Georgetown court, which heard that he is part of a gang that is at odds with Allen.
The charge alleges that on October 5th, 2019, at La Penitence Market, with intent to commit murder, Caesar discharged a loaded firearm at Allen, known as ‘Spoil Child.’
