The man accused of fatally stabbing 22-year-old Noel Singh outside his Met-en-meerzorg, West Coast Demerara (WCD) home on Sunday evening was yesterday apprehended by the police.
Regional Commander Senior Superintendent Linden Lord confirmed that the suspect, Ramesh Ramdeen, called “Braffy”, 20, a fisherman, also of Met-en-meerzorg, WCD was arrested at Parika, East Bank Essequibo (EBE) by the Divisional Detective Inspector and other ranks.
He is currently in custody assisting with investigations and is likely to be charged soon.
