(Jamaica Observer) Chairman of the Guardsman Group, Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Benjamin, today offered condolences to the family and friends of Paul Bruce, a security officer of the company who was killed in St Lucia last Friday, October 18.
“We are deeply saddened by the news of Mr Bruce’s passing. Collectively, we express our deepest sympathies to his family for their terrible loss. He was a valued member of our Guardsman family,” Benjamin said in a statement from the company.
Guardsman Group Managing Director Vinay Walia explained that the company is working closely with St Lucia law enforcement to bring the culprits to justice. “We have deployed resources and are coordinating with the investigators to identify and apprehend the criminals responsible,” he said.
Guardsman St Lucia Limited General Manager Jeanine Henry also expressed condolences.
“Paul was not only a co-worker, but he was our brother and friend. He was an amiable individual who loved his job and served diligently while executing his duties. The Guardsman Family is deeply saddened by the tragic death,” Henry said. “It has been very difficult for us all to process, but we are doing all we can to provide support his family at this time.”
