A masterful half-century from out-of-favour West Indies test batsman Vishaul Singh proved to be the deciding factor for East Bank’s six-wicket win over Upper Corentyne at Bourda on Tuesday.
Chasing a target of 173 for victory, the East Bank side reached 173-4 inside 26 overs to complete a memorable win.
The win was constructed by the usually sedate Singh, who displayed his versatility by easing his way to an unbeaten 59.
