North Georgetown and St. Agnes will contest the final of the Courts Pee Wee Football U11 competition following semi-final wins yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
North Georgetown defeated newcomer Genesis 2-0. Jaheem Gillard and Kevin Burton scored in the 28th and 38th minute respectively. With the win, North Georgetown sealed their maiden appearance in the championship match.
Likewise, St. Agnes also prevailed by the identical score against Tucville. Shane Dalrymple and Cleon London scored in the 43rd and 48th minute respectively.
The victory earned St. Agnes their second appearance in the tournament’s final. The grand final will be staged at the same venue on Saturday. The losing semi-finalists will contest the third place playoff.
Meanwhile In the 5-8 Section, St. Pius defeated West Ruimveldt 2-1 in extra time. Jamal Fraser recorded a double in the 40th and 42nd minute. On the other side, Cleon LaRose scored in the 39th minute.
Likewise, Soesdyke downed Timehri via the identical score. Shaquille Caleb fashioned a double in the 17th and 40th minute. On target in the loss was Nyron Barrow in the 36th minute.

In the 13-16 Zone, St. Stephen’s and Enterprise gained walkovers from Craig and Uitvlugt respectively.
