A dominating performance from the Sinclair family saw Rose Hall Thunderbolts to an eight-wicket win over Upper Corentyne in the Berbice Cricket Board Ivan Madray T20 tournament yesterday at the Area H Ground.
Upper Corentyne won the toss and opted to bat first but were contained to a paltry 78 in 13 overs with off-spinner Kevin Sinclair continuing his impressive form from the local Franchise League with 3-27.
He was supported by seamer, Keon Sinclair who took 2-30 while fellow off-spinner, Junior Sinclair wrapped up the lower order to end with 3-9.
Kameshwar Ramoutar showed promise, hitting two sixes and a four on his way to a top score of 22 while Lathram Roopchan was the only other batsman to reach double figures with 12.
Kevin Sinclair returned to give his side a positive start with 13 before being trapped leg before wicket but Junior Sinclair carried on to top score with 36. Kevlon Anderson finished off the chase with a brisk 22 not out as Thunderbolts reached their target in 10.4 overs.
