Diamond United edged Herstelling Raiders 6-4 when the East Bank Football Association [EBFA] Senior League continued yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
For the winner, Jomo George tallied a brace in the second and 36th minute, while Shaquan Brathwaite added two goals in the fifth and 38th. Assisting with conversions in the 33rd and 44th minute respectively were Carlos Wilkie and Romeo Bradford.
On the other side, Solomon Austin scored twice in the 15th and 39th minute, while Quazim Yussuf and Seon Sue Jr netted in the fifth and 41st minute apiece.
Meanwhile, Friendship defeated Agricola won via walkover. The tournament continues today at the same venue with another round of matches.
