Armed bandits invaded Harris Paints on Water Street, Georgetown yesterday morning and held workers at gunpoint before carting off approximately $4 million in cash.
Sunday Stabroek was reliably informed that the attack occurred around 10 am at the Lot 10-13 Water Street, Georgetown location. Three men, who were armed with guns, entered the business and held the four employees on duty at gunpoint before reliving them of their cell phones.
The bandits then ordered a worker to open the safe, which contained the money.
