Thirty-five employees of the Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) who didn’t have a chance to complete high school are being given the opportunity to grapple with core subjects and to write CSEC exams.
In a press release on Saturday, GWI said it has organised a Cross–Curri-cular Creativity Training Programme for the employees. The opening ceremony of the training programme got underway on Thursday in the boardroom of GWI’s headquarters. The programme is being facilitated by the Chase Academy.
The employees will have a chance to learn core subjects such as Mathe-matics, English, Social Studies and other Carib-bean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) subjects, as well as write the exams.
