Guyana’s Andrew King reigned supreme in the Group 4 category but 16 year-old Zane Maloney stole the show after starring in the SR3 Radical class yesterday at the South Dakota Circuit where the GMR&SC’s Clash of Champions was staged.
Racing fans left the Timehri venue satisfied after the 30-race programme was concluded but they were buzzing about the daredevilry of the teen from Barbados.
Maloney, the current British F4 Champion, thrilled the fans and gave them their monies worth after emphatically racing away with all three of the radical races. The teenage speed demon started on pole and won the first race three seconds ahead of second place Luke Bhola of Trinidad & Tobago (T&T).
