A top of the table clash between leader Pouderoyen and Crane failed to produce a winner, following a 2-2 draw on Saturday at the Goed Fortuin Community ground in the WDFA Senior Football League.
Devin Gaskin handed Pouderoyen the perfect start in the 14th minute, converting from the penalty mark after Cleveland Walcott was brought down inside the area.
However, Crane secured the equalizer in the 30th minute as Donford Williams scored. The goal emanated from a goalkeeping error, after the custodian attempted to dribble an opposing player, only for the ball to be intercepted and fed to the forward who scored.
Crane then took the lead two minutes later as Williams secured his double, directing a glancing header into the back of the net, after rising between two defenders. Nonetheless Pouderoyen earned a deserved share of the spoils in the 69th minute, as Walcott slotted into the left side of the net, after receiving a pass from Eon Sullivan.
Meanwhile, Golden Warriors and Eagles battled to a 4-4 thriller. Daniel Bernard fashioned the opening goal in the 11th minute for Golden Warriors, dribbling three players before uncorking a powerful effort into the back of the net.
Gavin Schalky responded in the 27th minute for Beavers to level the score, slotting into the right corner after receiving a left side pass. Beavers then seized control of the contest with two goals in the space of four minutes to take a 3-1 lead.
Anthony Harding opened his account in the 53rd minute, unleashing a thunderous free-kick from the top of the box which have the goalkeeper no chance as it fizzed into the back of the net.
Harding made his presence felt once again in the 57th minute, dribbling two defenders, before lashing his effort from inside the box down the center of the net.
Shaquille Baptiste eventually reduced the deficit to 3-2 in the 66th minute, volleying a powerful strike into the roof of the net, after receiving a cross from a corner kick unchallenged on the penalty spot.
Golden Warriors then leveled the score at 3-3 in the 70th minute through Okallie Gibson, who placed his shot into the far corner, after collecting a squared pass from the left side.
On the other side, Beavers thought they had fashioned the go-ahead winner in the 78th minute as Harding sealed his hat-trick. It was another free-kick from the dead-ball specialist, this time rifled into the roof of the goal from 35 yards out in the center of the field.
Nevertheless Golden Warriors provided the proverbial twist in the tale as Gibson recorded his second in the 83rd minute, latching onto a pass and finishing past the advancing goalkeeper inside the box.
