Defending champion Annandale crushed Queen’s College 6-0 when the GuyOil/Tradewind Tankers u18 Secondary School Football League resumed on Saturday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Colin Henriques bagged a brace in the 50th and 62nd minute, while John Roopnarine, Ajaye Sobers, Seon Heywood and Omari Glasgow netted in the 14th, 18th, 36th and 54th minute respectively.
Meanwhile, President’s College bested St. Stanislaus College 2-0. Jushawn Bayley fashioned a double in the 51st and 60th minute. Also, Charlestown and St. John’s College battled to a 1-1 stalemate. Kurt Carrington scored for St. John’s College in the third minute while John Simon equalised three minutes later for Charlestown.
On Saturday at the same venue, Lodge Secondary defeated the Bishops’ High 3-1. Derwin George bagged a double in the sixth and 66th minute, while Earl Grant added a goal in the 54th minute. For the loser, Makayah Smith netted in the 35th minute.
