Shamal Plass, who admitted to the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition two weeks ago, was yesterday told he would be spending the next two years in jail.
At his arraignment, Plass had pleaded “guilty with explanation” to two charges—illegal possession of a .38 revolver and illegal possession of three live rounds of matching ammunition, on November 3rd, at Georgetown.
He told the magistrate that he was out shopping for baby items for his daughter when someone named Fordyce approached him and asked him to hold a bag. He said he later discovered that the bag contained a firearm.
