The Police say they are investigating a shooting incident which occurred on Saturday at about 6.39 pm at Caesar Street, Agricola, EBD which left one man dead and another injured.
The dead man was identified as Seon Bobb. The injured man is Daniel Webster.
The police say that enquiries disclosed that there was an altercation among Bobb, age 24 years of Agricola, and two others known as `Plucking’ and `Big life’ and Webster of Lot 105 Caesar Street.
It is alleged that `Plucking’ and `Big Life’ who were armed with handguns, discharged several rounds in the direction of Bobb and Webster who both suffered gunshot injuries. Bobb sustained a gunshot injury below his chin while Webster suffered a gunshot injury to the right side of his chest. They were both picked up and taken to the GPHC where Bobb was pronounced dead and Webster was admitted to the Accident and Emergency Ward where he is being treated. His condition is regarded as serious.
A 30-year-old of Brutus Street was arrested pending investigation; the two suspects are being sought.
