Lodge Secondary maintained their unbeaten run in the 2nd edition of the ‘GuyOil/Tradewind Tankers Secondary Schools Football League’, defeating President College 3-1 yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Nicholas Trotman opened the scoring for Lodge Secondary with a sixth minute strike. Trotman would return to double his side’s lead, securing the second conversion in the 39th.
President College reduced the deficit in the form of Kareem Samuels in the 45th minute. However the game was put to bed in the 65th minute as Dorwin George recorded a conversion.
Meanwhile Queen’s College edged St. Stanislaus College 1-0. Diarra Thomas found the back of the net in the 50th minute.
The event will resume today at the same venue with Marian Academy opposing the Bishops’ High from 17:00hrs.
