Nineteen-year-old boxer, Shemar Halley, will have the support of West Indian Sports Complex as he looks to advance his career in the sport over in Trinidad and Tobago.
Recently, the Robb Street-based sports goods store made a significant contribution to the pugilist from the Forgotten Youth Foundation Gym which is based in the community of Albouystown.
The young man rose to prominence early last year when he was adjudged the best elite welterweight fighter in the Guyana Amateur Boxing Association’s Andrew Lewis National Novices Championship and later in the Junior Lightweight division in the Lennox Blackmore Intermediate Championships.
