Rajen Dindial, the 34-year-old who was found guilty of killing a man in 2017 at a Grove wedding house, was yesterday sentenced to 15 years in prison for the crime.
The charge against Dindial stated that on September 3rd, 2017, he murdered Alston Henry at Grove, East Bank Demerara. However, Dindial, who was on trial before Justice Jo-Ann Barlow at the High Court in Georgetown, was found guilty of the offence of manslaughter by a 12-member jury just two weeks ago.
