A gold miner, who police say was busted at the Kingston Wharf with a quantity of cannabis stashed inside a music set, was remanded to prison by a city magistrate yesterday.
Orin Liverpool, a 26-year-old father of four, of Kumaka, Mabaruma sub-region, appeared before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly and pleaded not guilty to the charge that on November 29th, 2019, at the Transport and Harbours Wharf, at Kingston, he had 1,238 grammes (equivalent to 2.7 pounds) of cannabis in his possession for trafficking.
