John Holder, the police constable charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice in the attempted murder case involving Maryann Daby, was yesterday told that he has to lead a defence.
Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus told Holder and his attorney, Stephen Rodney, that she had considered the case made by the prosecution and found that there was sufficient evidence against the accused and as a result she called upon him to lead his defence.
He is expected to do so on January 6th, when the matter is to be called again.
