Assistant Director of Sport, Melissa Dow-Richardson has assured the Guyana Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation of government’s and the ministry’s continued support and partnership towards the development of the sport in 2020 and beyond.
Dow-Richardson, who was speaking on behalf of the unavoidably absent, Minister of Social Cohesion, Dr. George Norton, made the statements during a courtesy call by president of the federation, Keavon Bess at the Main Street ministry, yesterday.
She noted that “once the books of the federation are in order,” government is committed to investing in not just bodybuilding but in all sports disciplines.
