The Customs Anti Narcotic Unit (CANU) tonight said that it busted a man at a ‘backtrack’ crossing from Suriname yesterday morning with suspected Ecstasy pills and Crystal Meth.
CANU named the suspected as Collins Steve Burrowes of Norton Street, Georgetown.
It said that the suspect was an incoming passenger from Suriname when he was searched by a CANU Rank at the Golden Gloves Speed Boat Service. The suspected Crystal Meth and Suspected Ecstasy were uncovered in clothing in a haversack he was carrying.
CANU said it found 254 grams of suspected Crystal Meth and
56 grams (100) suspected Ecstasy pills.
