The results of the DNA test that is being done locally on the samples taken from the charred remains suspected to be those of missing witness Colin Rodney Jr are expected to be ready before the end of this week.
This is according to Director of the Guyana Forensic Science Laboratory (GFSL), Delon France, who told Stabroek News yesterday that this will be possible once there are no “hiccups”.
Earlier this month, France had told Stabroek News that the process is still ongoing and analysts have to conduct some bone extractions for testing, which are likely to take some time due to the technicality of the process.
