A young man will be spending the remainder of the year in jail as he awaits his sentence for the crime of stealing from his aunt’s boutique.
Orlando Rickett, 23, pleaded guilty to a charge of break and enter and larceny after it was read to him by Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus in Georgetown yesterday.
Rickett admitted that on December 20th, 2019, at South Ruimveldt, he broke and entered the boutique of Aasha Gray and stole a quantity of brand name clothing and cash, amounting to $415,000 in total value, which was the property of Gray.
