Godfrey Cox, a youth who is accused of robbing a driver of a phone and $250,000 in cash by snatching them from his vehicle, will be spending Christmas in jail as he awaits his next court hearing.
Cox, 19, was remanded to prison yesterday by Magistrate Clive Nurse after the robbery charge was read to him.
The charge states that on December 20th, 2019, at King and Charlotte streets, Cox robbed Noel Trotman of a phone, valued $20,000, and $250,000 in cash.
