Three injured after Crabwood Creek accident

Three persons suffered injuries about their bodies during the wee hours of Wednesday morning after their vehicle turned turtle and slammed into a utility pole along the Crabwood Creek Public Road. 

Stabroek News was told by residents that Seeram Ramdatt, 22, was driving a car, PNN 7976, with two occupants, Ramnand Kishwar and Keron Phillips, 32, when the accident occurred around 3.30 am. 

The car, which was allegedly speeding along the public road, is said to have toppled twice before slamming into a nearby utility pole and then coming to an abrupt halt on a resident’s bridge. 

The two occupants were rushed to the Skeldon Public Hospital, while the driver of the car, who  fled the scene, was subsequently arrested and taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. 

Up to yesterday the three men were all listed as stable at the hospital. 

Police have launched an investigation into the accident.
