Tenders were yesterday opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board for the engineering, procurement and construction of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) power plants for Bartica and Lethem. The bids received were mostly from foreign companies including companies from China and Spain. The highest bid submitted in US dollars was equivalent to over $800 million Guyana Dollars.
