Dear Editor,
Anyone who knows Kit Nascimento and Tony Vieira knows you can read them.
They stick essentially to the same playbook. First make outlandish, unsubstantiated claims; pronounce and repeat those claims as “Facts”, “the truth is” and other emphatic outrageous statements.
They then appeal to their anachronistic network to get their names in a report here, an editorial there and a consultancy everywhere. Look out for another editorial by the weekend. They call in their faceless phantom “friends” at the “comments section” to justify their ridiculous positions. Misery loves company.
With regard to the issue at hand, NCN’s coverage, it is difficult for both Tony and Kit to prove that they have supporting data. They both continue to theorize before they have any data. “It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories instead of theories to suit facts” – Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
They have used what I have termed a difference between “livestreaming “ and a “live broadcast “ as a jumping off point to castigate me, NCN and by extension the Government of Guyana.
At all times I have spoken in my own behalf and/or that of NCN,
Tony and Kit are still to produce an iota of evidence to support all or any of the allegations they have made.
The desperation is theirs. Tony has called in his faceless army like the Eddie Hooper (Lord Inventor) song said “he whistling back and calling he army”. I don’t need to call anyone.
I don’t need to be authenticated, validated or even vindicated by anyone.
I good.
Yours faithfully,
Enrico Woolford
