Former Guyana Cricket Board vice-president, Alvin Johnson, retained the chairmanship of the East Bank Essequibo Cricket Association Friday when the body held its Annual General Meeting and elections at Dwayne Auto sales, Tuschen, East Bank, Essequibo.
Johnson, 63, earlier in the day had taken part in the unveiling of the Alvin Johnson Practice Facility at the Parika Salem Ground which stood in recognition of his contribution to the development of the sport.
He will now serve for two years as the head of the association.
