The 2020 Bounty Farm Ltd. Handicap squash tournament will conclude today after the semi-finals places were decided last evening at the Georgetown Club Squash Court, Camp Street.
At press time the semi-final matches were in progress with Brian Edwards taking on Mohryan Baksh for a spot in the Open category final. The latter defeated Lloyd Fung-A-Fat 15-11, 15-13 in the quarters while Edwards accounted for Nicholas Narine 15-10, 11-15, 15-12.
Semi-final two, on the other hand, was scheduled to see a showdown between Louis DaSilva and Lucas Jonas. Da Silva, en route to the semis, defeated Zachary Persaud 15-8, 15-11 while Jonas got his way with Peter De Groot 15-4, 15-11.
The semi-final places in Category `A’ will include matches between Dhiren Persaud and Rayad Boyce while Lajuan Munroe and Grant Fernandes will clash in the other.
