Several persons are currently in custody after the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) officers found a quantity of suspected narcotics on a boat at the Parika Stelling last night.
A CANU official confirmed that they intercepted a boat at the Parika Stelling which contained parcels of suspected cocaine and cannabis. As a result, several persons were taken into custody while CANU is seeking to locate one other person in connection with the find.
