Ramdhani siblings Narayan and Priyanna Ramdhani have earned the opportunity to represent the Province of Alberta at the upcoming Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) National Championships, after copping further success in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) championships played on Sunday last.
Narayan, the number-two seeded player, won silver in the men’s singles category where he was stopped by the number-one seeded Raymond Kim of Nait in the final 21-10, 21-17
Priyanna, on the other hand, will represent Alberta a the CCAA nationals scheduled for March 3-8 at the University of Toronto, Mississauga after winning silver in the women’s singles and bronze in the women’s doubles categories respectively.
The Guyanese in the singles category lost to top seed Takeisha Wang of Concordia in the final 21-10, 21-9. She teamed up with Layce Donaldson and worked their way to bronze.
