Two police constables on Tuesday testified in the Preliminary Inquiry (PI) into the charge against Kwayana Fernandes, who is accused of the murder of taxi-driver Owayne Lynch.
The PI continued before Prin-cipal Magistrate Faith McGusty in a Georgetown court, where constables Jermaine Richards and Sheldon Harvey, both attached to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), testified.
The charge states that Fernandes, 48, of 475 Cemetery Road, Mocha Arcadia, on August 6, 2019, at Cemetery Road, Mocha Arcadia, East Bank Demerara, murdered Lynch.
