A father of two accused of armed robbery, was yesterday remanded to prison at a Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Phillip English, 23, of Lot 4676, Rasville, made his appearance before Magistrate Dylon Bess to answer to three charges.
It was alleged that on February 10, 2020, at West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, in company of another and armed with a gun, English robbed Chitram Sookram of one Honda motorcycle valued at $340,000. It is also alleged, that on March 16, 2020, at Roxanne Burnham Gardens, while in company of another and armed with a gun, the accused robbed Loraine Brower of two gold chains with pendants, worth $85,000.
