Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited has instituted measures at its branches that will give priority to NIS pension payments.
According to a Republic Bank (Guyana) release, on Monday, April 6, and Tuesday, April 7, the first hour of its branches’ opening will be dedicated to NIS pension payments, in accordance with “our social distancing measures.” All other customers, it stated, will be attended to thereafter.
The Bank also advised that persons who visit their branch to uplift NIS pension payments beyond the above allocated time will be attended to by the Special Assistance Facility where applicable.
