Dear Editor,
There does not seem to be enough information being shared internationally by countries about the coronavirus.
I say this because where I live in the UK as of 4th April 2020 there are 41,903 cases with 4,313 deaths, 135 recovered and about 37,455 active cases.
Yet, in the 10 countries with the most cases of coronavirus like USA, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, China, Iran, Switzerland, Turkey the number of people recovered is in the thousands/tens of thousands with China leading the way….this excludes Turkey.
The British NHS is one of the best in the world yet we are at the bottom of the list of patients who have recovered from the coronavirus.
Clearly, more information needs to be available about what works against the coronavirus so that Guyana can be better prepared.
Yours faithfully,
Sean Ori
