Dear Editor,
Given that the coronavirus can stay for days on metal surfaces it is best for everyone to not wear any jewellery especially earrings. Although Guyanese women are very cautious and take great care of themselves, earrings may stay exposed to the air even though a mask is being worn and they are easy to forget to remove.
