In an effort to aid in more accessible communication between prisoners and their families during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ministry of Public Telecommunications (MoPT) has donated 30 tablets to the Guyana Prison Service.
In a release yesterday, the MoPT stated that it handed over the tablets to Director of Prisons, Gladwin Samuels who received the donation on behalf of the Guyana Prison Service.
