Two brothers were arrested on Thursday after the discovery of an unlicensed pistol and several live rounds at their Guyhoc Park, Georgetown residence.
The police, in a press release, yesterday said that ranks, acting on intelligence gathered, went to the location where they found the unlicensed pistol and nine live rounds. A motorcycle, which is suspected to have been stolen or unlawfully obtained, was also discovered, the release added.
One of the suspects, the police said, attempted to escape and he received minor injuries as he was being subdued.
The brothers remained in police custody up to yesterday afternoon.
