The Guyana Power and Light Inc. on Friday announced that it has taken the decision to suspend mail delivery for the month due to the difficult logistics of meeting the dates identified by the national post office.
The Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) has reduced the number of days on which it will accept bulk mail due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
As a result, GPL said its customers can take advantage of the other methods available for retrieving their electricity bills or bill balances. These are:

Customers may use any of the following services:

• Website LIVE CHAT
o Retrieve your Customer and

GPL added that it intends to resume bill delivery as soon as possible and encourages customers to use the alternative options as a means of practicing social distancing and stopping the spread of COVID 19.
