Relatives said that the couple were heading on their motorcycle, CE 8684 to Number 64 Village, Corentyne, when they were struck by a vehicle.

Stabroek News was told that at the time of the accident, motor car, PGG 6698 was being driven by Shevon Stuart, 43, a GRA law enforcement officer, of Lot 124 BB Eccles, East Bank Demerara while motor car, PMM, 6565 was being driver by Yougeshwar Dhanaram, 37, of No. 70 Village, Corentyne.

According to information gathered, both cars were proceeding south allegedly at a fast rate when Stuart claimed that Rambaran suddenly turned in front of her vehicle.
