The Central Islamic Organization of Guyana (CIOG) yesterday announced that tomorrow will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan for the Muslim Community.
In a press release, the CIOG said that the crescent for Ramadan has not been sighted and therefore fasting begins on Saturday 25th April, 2020.
It noted that Taraweeh prayers will commence on the evening.
