Eighty-four ballot boxes from the March 2nd general elections were recounted today, according to GECOM Commissioner, Sase Gunraj.
This brings the total recounted to 1639 out of 2339 on the last day of what was the original 25-day time frame. The period has now been extended to June 13th.
The total number of boxes recounted translates to 70%.
