Chairman of the Over-50s Cricket World Cup Steering Committee, Stirling Hamman has informed over 50 international teams that the next vintage event will be held until 2022.
The 2020 edition of the tournament which was being contested in Cape Town, South Africa ended prematurely in March due to the COVID – 19 Pandemic. West Indies and ten other teams were scrapping for top honours.
The Committee had intentions to replay the tournament in 2021 but has since backpedalled on that decision.
