A new positive case of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was confirmed by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) yesterday, resulting in the total number of confirmed cases rising to 154.
The COVID-19 dashboard posted on the MoPH Facebook page revealed that the new case was confirmed after 45 more persons were tested in the previous 24 hours. Prior to the latest positive case, testing results revealed in the preceding five days had not yielded any positive results.
Apart from the new case, the dashboard indicated that two more persons have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 80.
According to the dashboard, there are now 62 persons in institutional isolation and 14 persons in institutional quarantine, while three persons are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
There have been 12 deaths since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed on March 11.
