Tullow Guyana and Caribbean Surgery Incorporated (CSI) have partnered to acquire and distribute 10,000 reusable cloth masks for free at central hubs of Georgetown as part of their response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Tullow Guyana, the companies have commissioned local manufacturers to produce masks in response to the national, regional and international demand for masks. These masks are reusable and come in various sizes for both children and adults.
In a press statement, the company said the ‘Mask UP’ project is in alignment with the Public Health advisory as one of the mandatory requirements that the general public wear masks when outside their homes.
