PhotosCDC donates gloves, masks to Joint ServicesBy Stabroek News June 7, 2020 The Civil Defence Commission (CDC), with the support of SBM Offshore, on Friday handed over a quantity of gloves and face masks to the Joint Services. In a post on its Facebook page, the CDC said that the aim of the gesture is to protect law enforcement officials as they carry out their duties during the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The Director General of the CDC, Lieutenant Colonel Kester Craig, handed over the items to representatives of the Guyana Fire Service, the Guyana Prison Service and the Guyana Police Force at the CDC Headquarters at Thomas Lands.
