Guyana has confirmed 21 new cases of COVID 19, Chief Medical Officer Dr.

In a case brought by Eslyn David, the Guyana Court of Appeal this afternoon agreed by majority decision to issue an order  that  there  be  an  interpretation  of  the words “valid votes cast” as per Article 177 (2) (b) of the Constitution of Guyana and the recount order as it pertains to the election of a President.

The Guyana Court of Appeal is ruling on the challenge by Eslyn David that has been mounted to prevent the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) from using the results of the recount from the March 2nd elections to make a final declaration.
