The star-studded Regal Masters unit, completed a triumphant 10-wicket win over Sand Pipers Masters in fourth round action of the Guyana Cricket Board/Tropical Springs Over-40 T20 tournament at Everest on Thursday on the back of a complete all- round performance from Anthony Ifill.
It was the second scheduled match of the day at the Everest venue which saw Sand Pipers Masters being inserted in the 10 overs reduced fixture. They never really got going and were limited to a mere 39 for 6 off their allotted 10 overs.
Alvin Charran (10) and Bhupendra Deokie (10) were the only batsmen to get into double figures with Ifill (3-2) ending up as the pick of the bowlers.
Regal, in response, coasted home to 43 without loss in just 3.5 overs as Ifill (28) and Eion Abel (8) enjoyed an unbroken opening stand to carry their side to a second consecutive win.
The tournament continues on Monday with matches in Demerara. The first encounter at the Enmore Community Centre ground will see Regal Masters coming up against WD Mavericks while KV Construction will do battle against RP Construction legend in the second encounter.
Meanwhile, over at Everest, Everest Masters will host Bel Air Rubis Ultra Tec in the morning encounter which begins at 09:30 hours, while at 13:45 hours WD Master will compete against Sand Pipper Masters.
