Mobile Money Guyana (MMG) has partnered with Mattai’s, The Food Market to facilitate cashless payments through its MMG platform, a release from the company said yesterday.
“MMG continues to collaborate with organizations and businesses in Guyana to make transactions easier and cashless,” said MMG’s Manager of Operations, Jason Lewis.
The release said that at checkout, customers can choose the option of paying with MMG or can use this payment option for curbside pickup and delivery. “It’s simple and isn’t time-consuming at all. In 30 seconds or less, customers can pay their grocery bill through the supermarket’s merchant code,” said Lewis. He added that “With MMG’s as a payment option, the only thing you need when making purchases is your mobile phone. It is Fast, Easy and Reliable.”
Payment at Mattai’s can be made to merchant code 09094.
Suraj Mattai, Chief Operations Officer of Mattai’s welcomed the inclusion of MMG as a payment option at the supermarket. “As we continue to face this pandemic, it is important that we implement different safety precautions to protect ourselves and those around us. Not only is MMG fast and reliable but it is also contactless,” said Mattai, according to the release.
MMG said the service can be signed up for at www.mmg.gtt.co.gy/register.
