UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab yesterday added his voice to the continuing calls for the declaration of the March 2nd elections results using the figures from the pain-staking recount done in the presence of CARICOM scrutineers.
In a tweet yesterday, he said “It has been over 4 months since the people of #Guyana went to the polls – a result is still pending. The Elections Commission should declare on the basis of the
@CARICOMorg scrutinised recount. Guyana deserves an election result that reflects the will of its people”.
